Prime Bank Limited introduced a first ever MSME Islamic Shari’ah Based Investment Product named as "Hasanah Emarat" for Rent Earning MSMEs (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) located around metropolitan and industrial hubs across the country, particularly in and around Dhaka, Chittagong, EPZs, SEZs, Sub-urbs, Savar, Gazipur, Narayangonj, Keraniganj,Narshingdi, Comilla, Bogra, Syedpur, Jessore, Sitakunda, etc. who are keen to have finance under the Islamic mode of investment to construct/renovate/enhance building (semi-pacca, Pacca) establishments to generate rental income.
Investment Purpose:
New Construction/Purchase/ Expansion / Renovation of-
Semi-pacca or Pacca building for residential mess/residential construction depending upon rental income by enterprises
Commercial complex/space
Shops/Offices/ warehouses/factories (pacca or semi pacca construction).
Note: Purpose should be rent it only. No real estate development financing will be allowed under this scheme.
Eligibility
Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises as defined by Bangladesh Bank
Minimum One (01) year experience in the same line of business /service as an entrepreneur.
Age : - Minimum 21 years (during application)
         - Maximum 70 years (during expiry of the investment facility)
Capacity to repay Investment from secondary/tertiary (own sources) in addition to primary source of income
Key Features:
Unsecured Exposure: Up to BDT 30 Lac
Secured Exposure (through Registered Mortgage): Up to BDT 1,000 Lac
Investment Tenor : Maximum 120 months (depending on the investment amount)

Valid Trade License
Photograph of the customer
National ID card/ Copy of Passport/Birth Certificate or Driving License/Chairman's Certificate
Notarized partnership deed/registered by SRO or RJSC. Partners Resolution for the investment facility.
Copy of Memorandum & Article of Association of the company including Certificate of incorporation
Approval from concern government agency for permanent multistoried building construction (as applicable)
Up to date Special License to run the business (as applicable)
Others (as applicable)
Security/Collateral:
Registered mortgage (as applicable)
Lien of cash collateral (FDR) and other encashable financial instrument. (as applicable)
