Prime Exchange Co. Pte. Ltd., Singapore Signs Remittance Agreement with Sonali Bank Ltd., Bangladesh |

Prime Exchange Co. Pte. Ltd., Singapore signed a Remittance Arrangement Agreement with the State owned Sonali Bank Limited, Bangladesh on 4th March at the premises of the corporate office of Prime Bank Limited. The Managing Director of Prime Bank & Director of Prime Exchange Co. Md. Ehsan Khasru and the Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank Atiqur Rahman signed & exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. This arrangement will facilitate the beneficiaries to collect remittance from any branch of Sonali Bank in Bangladesh sent from Singapore through Prime Exchange Co.
Prime Exchange Co. Pte. Ltd. is the first ever fully owned exchange company established in Singapore with the approval of Bangladesh Bank and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Established in 2006, it has been providing excellent remittance services to the NRBs living and working in Singapore.
Present at the signing ceremony were Deputy Managing Director of Prime Bank Md. Golam Rabbani, SEVP & Head of International Division Habibur Rahman, SVP Hassanul Zahed, SVP & Head of Treasury Sk. Matiur Rahman, and SAVP Md. Abdul Quddus of Prime Bank, and the Deputy General Manager Rashid Ahmad and other senior officials of Sonali Bank Limited.

Prime Bank Provides Scholarship to MBM Students on BIBM Day |

"BIBM Day" was observed on 25th February at the BIBM Auditorium in the City. Governor Bangladesh Bank Dr. Atiur Rahman inaugurated the program as Chief Guest. Managing Director of Prime Bank Md. Ehsan Khasru handed over the scholarships to the First, Second and Third position holders in the merit list of the 14th batch of MBM. Director General of BIBM Dr. Taufiq Ahmed Chowdhury was present on the occasion.
Noteworthy that Prime Bank Limited provides this scholarship to MBM students every year. The recently retired and newly joined Deputy Governors of Bangladesh Bank were given reception at the program. In the program, the awards distribution to the students of MBM 14th batch and farewell to the students of EMBM 4th batch held.

Prime Bank's Annual Business Conference Held |

The Annual Business Conference of Prime Bank Limited was held on 23rd February at the Winter Garden of the Ruposhi Bangla Hotel. Chairman of the Board of Directors Md. Shirajul Islam Mollah inaugurated the conference as the chief guest. Former Chairmen of the Bank Azam J Chowdhury and Quazi Sirazul Islam spoke on the occasion. Former Vice Chairperson of the Bank Marina Yasmin Chowdhury and Director M A Wahhab were also present at the program. Managing Director Md. Ehsan Khasru presided over the conference.
Mentors of different clusters presented the summary of business of their respective clusters along with the strengths as well as weaknesses of their business performances in the conference. Besides, the strategy & business target for 2012 were also ascertained in the conference. Four Best Performing Managers - one from each cluster, and four Best Rising Star Managers were awarded in the conference.
Additional Managing Director of the Bank M. Reazul Karim, Deputy Managing Directors- Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury, I B Chowdhury, Md. Golam Rabbani and Muhammad Yasin Ali were also present at the conference. All Head of Branches and concerned Divisional Heads participated in the conference.
Head of HR, SVP Md. Iftekhar Hossain coordinated and anchored the whole program.
The program ended with an enigmatic cultural event.

Mashiur Rahman, Head of Khulna branch, SVP Sk. Anisuzzaman, along with officers of the Bank were also present at the occasion.
Managing Director of the Bank Md. Ehsan Khasru, in his inaugural speech gave direction to the officers of the Bank on collecting deposits, rendering superior banking services under inclusive banking campaign and to plan the performances of the Bank at a single objective.

Prime Bank Limited has launched a Retail Deposit Campaign named "Customer Mela" from its Kushtia branch on 1st February. The "Customer Mela" was launched by the Managing Director of the Bank Md. Ehsan Khasru. Head of Retail, SVP Md. Mashiur Rahman, Head of Kushtia Branch Md. Saidur Rahman, along with officers of Kushtia branch, Sales Managers of Retail Banking Division & members of Marketing team of the Bank were also present at the occasion.
The three month long "Customer Mela" will cover all the branches of the bank across the country and conclude on 30th April.

Prime Bank Limited recently distributed blankets to the winter-stricken people of the Khordo Rangpur, Mahigonj in Rangpur district. Advocate Rezina Razzak, Administrator of Rangpur Zila Parishad distributed the blankets as the chief guest. Shahadat Hossain, Former Director of Prime Bank was also present at the moment as the special guest. The distribution program took place at VIP Shahadat Hossain Primary School. Md. The distribution program took place at a private school of village Machuria, Terokhada. The blankets were distributed by the head of Khulna Branch, SVP Sk. Anisuzzaman along with the Chairmen of Sachiadaha, Sagladaha and Terokhada unions. |
