What is “24x5 Trade Shop”??
Prime Bank increases its real-time trade transaction offerings and customized solutions for its diverse local and global clients to 24 hours a day, 5 days a week for accelerating its communication response time by delivering quick, efficient and timely services around the clock.

Taking into account the differences in working hours of different countries, the 24 hours / 5 days a week trade services will be offered by centralized Trade Services Division of Prime Bank.

Under this arrangement, the usual trade transaction processing will be offered from 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM and query-based customer support will be provided through its dedicated call center from 10:00 PM to 08:00 AM of the following Morning.

  1. Am I eligible for this service?

    1. Yes, as an existing account holder/trade customer of Prime Bank (Exporter/ Importer), please call +88 01313 00 96 77 or send us an email at tsd.csm@primebank.com.bd to avail this service.

    2. In case you aren't an existing customer, please contact: +88 01313 00 96 77 or 16218 for further guidance.


  2. Does 24x5 trade service mean I can expect all sorts of transactions from Prime Bank Ltd. any time of the day?

    The “24x5 Trade Shop” offers trade services in two time slots:

    1. Core Trade Services (trade transactions, reporting & direct services) – From 8 am to 10 pm.

    2. Advisory services through the Contact Center (Information & queries) - From 10 pm to 8 am.


  3. What are the services that will be available from 8 am to 10 pm under this shop from Sunday to Thursday?

    Regular Trade Services provided from 8 am to 10 pm include:

    1. LC Issuance
    2. Export Doc collection
    3. LC settlement
    4. Issuance of Shipping Guarantee
    5. L/C advising
    6. Negotiation / purchase of local & foreign documents
    7. Issuance of various certificates
    8. Advisory services etc.

  4. What are the services that will be available from 10 pm to 8 am?

    Our Contact Center executive will answer to the trade-based queries received through registered contact numbers of the existing trade customers. Contact Center executives will provide the following services:

    1. LC Issue and Amendment Status
    2. LC Acceptance, Payment Status
    3. LC Advising Status
    4. Export bill lodgment and realization status – detail will be notified by TSD
    5. Import Document Receiving Status

    However, if queries made are not mentioned in the list above, our Contact Center executive will keep a note and will get back to the customer within the next working day.

  5. How can I submit my email indemnity and register a mobile number on behalf of my Company to avail the Contact Center services?

    To submit your email indemnity and to register your mobile number, please contact your Relationship Manager.

  6. What is the Contact Center Number?

    Please dial 16218 to get our Contact Center services. Once you are connected to 16218, you will have to press 9 (Nine) to access the Trade Services Menu.
