AR Jeans Producers Limited, a sister concern of Fashion Globe Group is a 100% export oriented woven garment factory, engaged in manufacturing different type of woven products. This is the 14th project in Bangladesh to get LEED Platinum level certification. Prime Bank has disbursed USD 1.11 million and Euro 0.25 equivalent to BDT 119.07 million to AR Jeans Producers Limited under Green Transformation Fund of Bangladesh Bank. The fund was utilized to import energy efficient sewing machinery that will directly contributes to SDG goal 7, Affordable and Clean Energy and goal 12 Responsible Consumption and Production.

Northern Tosrifa Group is a 100% export oriented companies, ensuring excellence in both quality and delivery in every stride. Fashion Asia Limited and Northern Corporation Limited of the group is doing banking with Prime Bank. Both the factory of Fashion Asia Limited and Northern Corporation Limited have qualified for LEED Gold certification for their environment friendly factory premise. Prime Bank has financed BDT 300 Million and BDT 200 Million respectively to Fashion Asia and Northern Corporation for supporting their Green Building initiative under Bangladesh Bank Refinance Scheme for BDT 200 Million each.

GMS Textiles Ltd., a concern of GMS Group, is an entirely integrated and independent unit, comprised of state-of-the-art composite knitting, dyeing, finishing and stitching units, which deliver exports to renowned buyers of Eurozone, Australia, USA etc. In recognition of green initiatives, GMS Textiles Ltd. has achieved Platinum LEED Certification. Prime Bank has financed BDT 1,511 Million in GMS Textiles Ltd for the construction of a green building including a Biological ETP. Prime Bank has arranged USD 16 Million and BDT 200 Million under Bangladesh Bank refinance programs. The ETP will treat the dyeing wastewater and discharge reusable water as per the standard of Department of Environment. This project will save 54% energy through renewable energy initiatives and will approx. 72% of water usage will be possible by utilizing water efficient fixtures and treated water.”
