Prime Bank PLC has appointed Mr. Faisal Rahman as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following approval from Bangladesh Bank.

A seasoned banking professional with over 30 years of experience, Mr. Rahman brings extensive expertise in commercial banking, corporate finance, structured finance, sustainable finance, and strategic leadership. Prior to this appointment, he served as Additional Managing Director & Chief Business Officer of Wholesale Banking at Prime Bank PLC, where he led the Bank’s Corporate Banking Transformation Program and strengthened relationships with key corporate clients.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Rahman has held senior leadership positions at Prime Bank PLC, Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh, Eastern Bank PLC, and Crédit Agricole Indosuez. He has successfully led several landmark financing initiatives across sectors including energy and power, infrastructure, aviation and sustainable finance, contributing significantly to Bangladesh’s economic development.

Mr. Rahman holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management & Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration. He has participated in numerous executive and leadership development programs at home and abroad and is also an Omega Certified Credit Professional.
